Yú Mèngyì (余梦义) known by her alias Celine Yu (余席琳) is a Chinese singer, dancer, model, actress and businesswoman currently under Diverse Co. & Yi Entertainment. She was a member of the Super Group ACG84's Team A until her departure on 2015.
She made her solo debut on March 29, 2022 with her first digital album "Mauve".
History[]
2009-2015: ACG84 Team A[]
Yu Mengyi was introduced on ACG84's first Team, TEAM A. She was a regular member of the group, her nickname at the time was Aphordite (阿佛洛狄忒).
After sometime ACG84 Star Culture announced that TEAM A would be finishing Promotions with 14 Members of TEAM A leaving ACG84 Star Culture Label on June 2015, Yu Mengyi being one of them.
2015-2020: New Agency, Acting debut[]
On July 15, 2015, Diverse Co. & Yi Entertainment announced that Yu Mengyi would be joining the label through an exclusive contract to promote as an actress under the company.
She made her acting debut in January of 2016 staring on the C-Drama "What's Wrong with Lou?", where she gained national recognition for her visual and top notch acting. After the immediate success of What's Wrong with Lou?, Mengyi acted in lots of C-Drama and even stared on the nominated Academy Awards international movie "Lost" where she received critical acclaim for her performance throughout the movie.
2021-Present:[]
on June 22, 2021, Yu Mengyi went to announce that she would be releasing her Clothing & Fragrance brand CELINE YU & CO., the grand opening for the brand was on September 5, 2021, and the site featured her former teammates on ACG84 such as Cheng Xia, Mo Yi'an, Wang Jienjien, Song Yuhua and other models and actresses that Mengyi was close to. The sales of the first three weeks would proceed towards those infected with the Covid-19 to help with treatments.
She also released her first digital single "Mauve" on March 29, 2022, which marked as the artist's debut. She got nominated on the TACA awards for the New Solo Act and New Wave Artist, she won the New Wave Artist award.
On August 7, 2023, Diverse Co. & Yi Entertainment announced that Yu Mengyi would be releasing her second single "Noir" and that Mengyi is preparing the release her first EP on early 2024.
On January 29, 2024, Diverse Co. & Yi Entertainment announced that Yu Mengyi would be releasing her first EP "Couleurs" in February 19, 2024.
