In Yewon (인예원) is a Korean singer-songwriter, composer, dancer and rapper currently under DRV Records as a member of Sugarr.
Early Life[]
In Yewon was born on Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi, South Korea on June 6th, 2002. For as long as she can remember, she was always passionate about writing, going the extra mile in essays and similar activities. Originally, her future goal was to become an author, writing mystery books for the world to enjoy.
Trainee period[]
She became a trainee under Elipse Entertainment in 2020 after she took her sister to audition, as she was the one that wanted to become an idol and not Yewon. Unfortunately for her sister, she never ended up making it in. Instead, Yewon was offered to audition, and while initially she didn't want to become an idol, she gave it a shot in order to fulfill her sister's dream. Her dance skills as someone who had never danced before caught the attention of the staff, thus becoming a trainee under Elipse Entertainment.
Career[]
2021: Sugarr[]
On July 19th, she was announced as a member of Sugarr. The group would make their debut on September 2nd with the mini album Mystic Potions.
2023-2024: Departure from Elipse Entertainment, Songwriter[]
On 2023, it was announced that Yewon's contract with Elipse Entertainment had expired, as she had decided not to renew. From 2023 to Sugarr's reformation, she worked primarily as an independent songwriter.
2025: DRV Records[]
On April 24th, Yewon, alongside the rest of Sugarr, signed with RONDO Entertainment's sub-label, DRV Records, to continue activities.
