Huang Lianjie (Chinese: 黄连杰; pinyin: Huáng Liánjié), known professionally as Yahui (야후이), is a Chinese singer under South Korean label, Sapphire Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group ARCANE, serving as the main vocalist, and visual of the group.
Personal life[]
In 2019, Yahui officially naturalised as a Republic of Korea (ROK) citizen after residing in Seoul for 11 years, thus automatically revoking his Chinese nationality.

2022: Military enlistment[]
On April 19, Yahui enlisted into the Marine Corps for his mandatory military enlistment. He completed his military service on October 19, 2023 and was discharged the same day.
Personality[]
Dubbed the "gentlest of all giants" by his loving mother, Yahui is someone who listens more than he speaks. He feels anxious in a room full of new people, hence must always have someone he's comfortable with to stick to in order to be able to open up more. Oftentimes he worries over his personality and fears what others may think of him due to his closed-in and shy nature.
