XOLAS (Korean: 솔러스, Japanese: ソラス, Chinese: 光创少男) is an eleven-member project boy group under HIEX Creative formed through the survival program DREAM TICKET. They officially debuted on September 23, 2024, with the mini album FIRST LIGHT.

XOLAS (솔러스) is a blend of the Irish word Solas, meaning "light," and the letter "X," symbolizing infinite potential. The name reflects the group’s mission to bring brightness and hope to the world through their music, while "X" represents their boundless ability to innovate and connect with fans globally. XOLAS embodies the idea of limitless light, inspiring their audience to shine in their own unique way.
XOL[]
The name XOL (솔) represents the fans of XOLAS, combining "X" with "Sol," the Spanish word for "sun." XOLAS means "light," and XOL symbolizes the fans who are like the sun, radiating warmth and energy. Just as the sun is essential for light to shine, the fans are what make XOLAS truly glow, supporting and uplifting the group with their unwavering love and presence.

Pre-debut: DREAM TICKET[]
In March 2024, after the success of MY ROOKIE IDOL, it was announced that LYM would air their second survival show, DREAM TICKET.
On March 2, LYM opened the audition form to the public for any boy who was born before the year 2012 and has a dream to debut as a K-Pop idol regardless of their nationality. The audition period would last from March 2 until March 12, 2024, with individual applicants being notified about their audition results by early April.
The show premiered on May 12, 2024, and the finale was broadcast on July 30. 2024, with the top 11 contestants becoming XOLAS. Of the top 11 winners, Kim Jaewoon had already debuted in LUVX, Lim Jungwoo had already debuted in BLUE FLAME and its sub-unit JunTaeJung, and Kai Cheng and Ben had been placed in YL Entertainment's pre-debut boy group, AROHA.
2024: "Polaroid Love," FIRST LIGHT, First Fanmeeting[]
On August 7, 2024, HIEX Creative announced XOLAS' first mini album, FIRST LIGHT. On September 15, 2024, they released the pre-release single, "Polaroid Love," in anticipation of their debut mini album. They officially debuted with the mini album on September 23, 2024.
On September 28, 2024, HIEX Creative announced that XOLAS would be holding their first fanmeeting titled "XOL&US." It later took place on October 5, 2024, where they revealed XOLAS' official fan name "XOL."
In December, HIEX Creative announced that the group will be having their first comeback in February with their second mini album.
2025-present: "BURNING LIGHT", Japanese debut with "Over & Over", Comeback[]
On February 10, the group released their second mini album BURNING LIGHT.
February 12, it was announced that the group would be making their debut in Japan on April 7.
On April 7, the group released their 1st Japanese single "Over & Over" it was a smash hit in Japan, selling over 250,000 copies and ranking 1st for two weeks straight on the Oricon charts.
