XKWG Original Line up was with Eungae, Kayun, Nahyeon, Mio, Chahee, Kiro, Yuna, Hayoung, E Yina and Lizzie. which the lineup debuted.
Debuting on 2014 with Chocolate&Cream, They started gaining attention in South Korea but also Internationally. they made seperate versions of the album Chocolate&Cream called Factory: Chocolate and Factory: Cream, Ended up boosting the sales around the world providing enough budget to start another comeback really soon.
Finally EIGHTY Entertainment announced their long waited comeback on 2015. Up to the Galaxy. Members Eunchae and Kiro Graduated from the group by the end of 2015.
EIGHTY Entertainment stated that XKWG will continue with 7-Members Promotions.
The Group also became more known when ZKT28 was announced consisting members Oyumi (Mio) and Saki (Chahee) Under YORI Entertainment. The group also signed contracts with YORI Entertainment for their Japanese Debut. they debuted in japan with Cheer Up So!~ Which they gained alot of new Fans from Japan. Supporting the girls, they became more and more famous.
after the promotions finished they went hiatus for 1 year. In 2017 EIGHTY Entertainment announced the department of the group from the company, as The members confirmed that they would continue promotions under YORI Entertainment focusing in Japan.
in April 16, 2018 XKWG Members announced that they had singed contracts with ONH Entertainment, that they are comming back on South Korean Stage once again, Now adding 2 more members, Naomi and Jungyeon. Announcing their Comeback Why Again?. The Fans were so happy to see them once again performing on korea.
ONH Entertainment announced that XKWG will debut in China in august with the digital single: "Candy".
In July 15, 2019, ONH Entertainment announced the deprature of member Yuna due to her personal reasonings. Stating: "I think i've done enough for myself and being a part of this group was an total honor, I wish my members all the best and to never lose hope. I Hope we can meet sometime again in the future, all of us. Till then, XKWG Fighting!~"
In October 3, 2019, ONH Entertainment announced the deprature of member Lizzie as she would step out of the entertainment industry and continue with University and School Stating: "Hey, it's Lizzie of XKWG, as for myself being a part of a girl group, i think this is the end for me. I've made my decision to continue with school and get a job, work on my personal life more, Support XKWG! They deserve the best!~"
On March 24, 2020 ONH Entertainment announced the deprature of member Nahyeon as she would be continuing as an actress on the same Label, just would be departing from the Group stating "Hey it's Nahyeon~ie. I'm really thankfull to our Chocoz and My fellow lovely members for everything. I've decided to step out of the group and try new stuff. Love All of You and sorry for the sudden announcement, Dear Chocoz Keep supporting Me & XKWG on our future."
On April 25, 2020 ONH Entertainment announced that Kayun and E Yina would be departing from the group Kayun to pursue solo a career on music and acting and E Yina will continue her studies. Also ONH Entertainment stated that the Group would now continue as a 5 Member Girl Group without any Line-Up Change on the future.
On July 8, ONH Entertainment announced that XKWG is going to have a comeback with a Full Album called "Wonders of the World"
On October 5, 2020 ONH Entertainment announced that XKWG had signed a special contract with SLEN and former member Eunchae would be joining the group for future promotions.
On December 20, 2020 ONH in collaboration with SLEN Network announced that the group is coming back with their 2nd Studio Album in January 2021.
On April 5, 2024, ONH Entertainment and Source On revealed that XKWG's promotions have come to an end and the group would be disbanding regarding the member's wishes.
