Wu Qin (우친) is a Uyghur-Chinese trainee under DEIA Entertainment. He is part of a trainee program DEIATROOPS and a former member of Alliance.

Early life[]

Wu Qin was born on April 7, 2005, in Ürümqi, Xinjiang, China as Wu Qin to a Uyghur father and a Chinese mother. He is the only child. Due to father's death, he didn't continue to learn Uyghur.

Career[]

2020-2022: Alliance[]

Wu Qin joined the label with his fellow bandmate O.V. in December 2018 until he debuted as a member of Alliance on April 9, 2020, under the stage name UV.

The first performance with the group became viral not only in Korea but also in China. Because of that, UV was nominated for "Most Popular Male Idol" Grand Prize, but he didn't win.

On January 29, 2022, ZoneAir Music announced that Alliance would continue as a four-member group following the departure of him, D1, EM, Atom, and O.V.

2024-present: DEIATROOPS[]

On April 3, 2024, Wu Qin with Shigeaki, Hayden, Rong-hua, Maeve, Flora, Yulisa, and Gyok Nah-yeong were introduced as the new eight members of a trainee program, DEIATROOPS.
