Wonderland Winks (Korean:원더랜드 윙크스; Japanese: ワンダーランドウィンクス) also shortened as WoWin, is a 8-Members South Korean Girl Group under MAKE Entertainment. Originally as 9, They debuted on June 13, 2018 with Come in Wonderland.

History[]

Pre-Debut:[]

After MY WORLD Entertainment's Establishment on January 2017. They stated that they're working with 9 Girl Trainees to debut a unique kind of group aside from DIVISION.

Debut:[]

On the start of May They revealed that the Group's name is WonderlandWinks, and they announced their debut date to be on June 13, 2018 with 7 Members, People were confused and thought that 2 trainees had left the company.

In June 13, 2018 WonderlandWinks officially debuted as 9, and stated that the two members would join the group as 2 special hidden members and would reveal their faces to the public in the upcoming future.

2018-2021: Rise after debut, Nini and Raeseo's reveals.[]

The group gained alot of Popularity over 2018-2019 due to the mysterious members Nini and Raeseo, and fans are asking for MY WORLD Entertainment to reveal the faces of the members, The Company responded with this statement:

"Hey, It's MY WORLD Entertainment! WonderlandWinks has rised with popularity over these years mostly due to the hidden members Nini and Raeseo, and we're really thankful for helping the group receive so many fans over a short time, and Fans are asking for Nini and Raesoo to reveal their faces to the public, Which that's not our problem at all. But Nini and Raeseo & WonderlandWinks members have come to an agreement for those two to remain Hidden for a little more time. Hopefully W-onders will respect their decision to remain "Hidden" for a bit more! Thank You!" - MY WORLD Entertainment.

On January 25, 2020 member Nini was officially revealed, now Raeseo being the only Hidden member yet to be revealed.

On August 10, it was revealed that MyWorld Entertainment is Collaborating with The Entertainment CORE on creating a Special Unit with Wonderland Winks & HONESTY Members. Details will be coming soon.

On January 3, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment announced that Wonderland Winks are going to have a comeback with their first Full Length Album on March 2021. Also they announced that Member Raeseo would be revealed during the teaser process for the album. The album titled "Wonders in The Wonderland" would portray one of the stories that take part on the Wonderland Universe.

On February 17, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment announced that the comeback "Wonders in The Wonderland" would be released on March 13, also they finally revealed member Raeseo.

On July 15, 2021 MyWorld Entertainment announced that Wonderland Winks will make their next comeback on October 2021, with the next Episode Album "Wonderland Park: The Carnival of Night", it was released on October 18, 2021.

2022: Sahyun's hiatus, THE QUEENS, Full Album release[]

On January 18, 2022, MyWorld Entertainment announced that Sahyun will be going on a hiatus due to some injuries during practice, she will be back after the injuries are healed completely.

They were announced as part of the line-up for the competition TV show THE QUEENS alongside 5 other female teams and 6 other female soloists.

on March 31, 2022, MyWorld Entertainment announced that Sahyun's hiatus will be extended due to anxiety and panic disorder and the group would be continuing as 8 until her return sometime in the future.

on May 28, 2022, MyWorld Entertainment announced that Wonderland Winks would make a comeback with their second Full Album Eye of the White Rabbit. The album is set to be released on June 26, 2022 and Sahyun would not be participating on the group's promotions for the album due to her hiatus.

On November 15, 2022, MyWorld Entertainment announced that Wonderland Winks would be releasing a special Christmas single "Mine" on December 6, 2022. Sahyun would not be participating on the promotions for the single due to her hiatus.

2023-Present: Sahyun's departure, Japanese debut.[]

On January 5, 2023, MyWorld Entertainment announced that Sahyun would be departing from the group after mutual agreements reached while discussing with the members, the company, and the family of Sahyun. Sahyun would still be signed into the agency and the agency would be taking care of her treatment expenses as well as her wellbeing. The company announced that Wonderland Winks would continue to promote with 8-members as they have in 2022. In the same article the company announced that they're planning on releasing a Japanese EP for WonderlandWinks in the 3rd quarter of 2023, sometime after their next Korean release which is another Episode album.

On March 13, 2023, MyWorld Entertainment announced that the group would be making a comeback with their next Episode album, Wonderland Park: Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades. The album is set for release on April 9, 2023.

On June 1, 2023, MAKE Japan revealed that Wonderland Winks will make their official japan debut on September 1, 2023, with their fist EP "WHiTE RABB!T".

On November 13, 2023, MyWorld Entertainment revealed that Wonderland Winks would be making a comeback with their next episode album, Wonderland Park: Abominable Monster. Along this announcement it was revealed that Raesoo would change her stage name back to her real name Taebin.

On July 31, 2024, MAKE Entertainment revealed that Wonderland Winks is going to comeback with their next episode album Wonderland Park: Imiselinos. The album is set for release on August 26, 2024.

On December 11, 2024, Wonderland Winks released a new Christmas single "Nothing Like Christmas". And also revealed that all members have decided to extend the contracts with the agency and continue promotions as Wonderland Winks members.

On December 23, 2024, MAKE Entertainment announced that Wonderland Winks would be making a comeback with their next episode album Wonderland Park: Inside Out. The album is set for release on January 20, 2025.
