WONDERONE (원더원) was an 7-Members South Korean Girl Group under ASOUND Entertainment. They debuted in January 17, 2022 with the first mini album "Wonders of One".
History[]
On early 2020, ASOUND Entertainment announced that they're preparing to debut a new girl group sometime in the next two years, The group would be going by the name ASOUND Girls for their Pre-Debut Activities.
The Members announced were: Li Xifeng, Park Jaehe, Kim Seojin, Cai Doyi, Kim Nayeon, Cho Eunsuh, Lee Hayeon, Yoo Jeongmin and Suh Cheyoung.
On January 4, 2021, ASOUND Entertainment announced that Park Jaehe has terminated her contract after training with the company for 7 years.
On May 12, 2021, ASOUND Entertainment announced that Kim Seojin and Cho Eunsuh would be leaving the company to pursue elsewhere. 1 Week later the company announced they would be adding two members to the group Kato Hanase and Lee Yunseo.
On July 19, 2021, ASOUND Entertainment announced that Lee Hayeon would be leaving the group and the company by terminating her contract.
On July 23, 2021, ASOUND Entertainment revealed that Lee Yunseo would be participating on the survival show Dawn of Teenagers as a new opportunity, they also revealed that Yunseo would be still remain under the company.
On October 14, 2021, ASOUND Entertainment revealed the group name for ASOUND Girls, The group would be going by the name WONDERONE, and the same day all the members were revealed: Sei, Doyee, Nayeon, Hanase, Jeongmin, Cheyoung and Taela. They also revealed that the group would be making their awaited debut on January 2022 with a Mini Album.
on July 10, 2022, ASOUND Entertainment announced that WONDERONE would be making a comeback with their second mini album "Eye of The Catalyst". The mini is set for release on August 8, 2022 with No serving as the title track.
On February 20, 2023, ASOUND Entertainment announced that they have plans to re-debut the group with a fresh concept that they've been working right after promotions for their previous comeback ended. They announced that WONDERONE is disbanding
