Park Kyunghee (경희), better known by her stage name Vida (비다), is a Korean-American singer under Neverland Entertainment. She was under Galaxia Entertainment from 2015 to 2022, and was a former member of the project girl group I.B.I and the trainee group Galaxia Ladies.

Early life and Education[]

Park Kyunghee was born on May 9, 2002, and she lived in Los Angeles with her parents and older sister until she was ten years old. Kyunghee's mother, a professional traditional Korean pottery artist, motivated her daughter to pursue art from a young age. With her interest in art growing, Kyunghee eventually moved back to her parents' homeland of Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, to live with her aunt and uncle, both of whom are artists. When Kyunghee's aunt discovered that she had joined the middle school dance and art clubs, she also realized that Kyunghee had a great singing voice. As a lifelong K-pop enthusiast, her aunt encouraged her to try out auditioning for Galaxia Entertainment. When she was only 13 years old, she surpassed all stages of the audition, and landed her an offer to sign as a trainee. Perhaps this was the divisive way forward from what she and her parents had envisioned, but Kyunghee who was "curious" about trying out the idol life, decided to "abandon" her original plan and signed as a trainee, of course only after she received her parents' blessing. In 2022, Kyunghee was granted admission to Hanyang Women's University where she could study ceramic arts, proving that fate never truly cuts her off from the art world.

Vida's first solo fan meeting which was scheduled to held at the Yes 24 Live Hall on June 29, was postponed on June 25, after she was tested positive for COVID-19.

At the end of 2021, Vida hosted the 2021 KBS Drama Awards with Lee Cho-hee and Lee Sang-yi.

2022-present: Goodbye Galaxia, Hello Neverland[]

In January 2022, Vida decided to leave the company and Galaxia Ladies after her contract with Galaxia Entertainment ended and later joined Neverland Entertainment in March. The main reason she didn't want to extend the contract was that Neverland gave her the chance to go to college and pursue art again, something she'd wanted to do since she was a kid, but was denied by Galaxia who preferred her to debut in their new girl group.

From 2022 until the present days, Vida focuses on her ceramic arts study at Hanyang Women's University and acting career.
