Victoria Solandis Shao, also known by simply Victoria, is a American rapper, singer-songwriter and actress under Fashion Enterprises Entertainment. She is a member and is the co-Leader of IMPGS and their sub-unit IMPGS Tap. On June 3, 2019, she debuted with "Your Boyfriend Sucks!".
Life and Career[]
Victoria Solandis Shao was born in October 14, 1998, in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, to Asher Shao (b. February 13, 1977), a Taiwanese-American owner of a car company from Norfolk, Virginia, and Odette Lee (b. December 8, 1975), a Korean-American housewife from Washington D.C. She has one half-sibling on her father's side, but is an only child on her mother's side.
Often during vacation, she would visit various places when she was little. During 5th-9th grade, she was bullied for being the only Asian in her classroom, as well as dressing in a gothic style, to the point where she had to confront her bullies to stop. She later embraced it in 10th grade.
She was popular pre-debut since she was known for her rap and vocal covers of songs posted on YouTube. She joined Fashion Enterprises in February 2015 while still living in Maryland. She attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School (Baltimore).
During 2015-2017, she was studying at the Juilliard School in New York. She was also an artist on SoundCloud under the name "MingVictoria".
In Late 2018, she made her Indie label, "Mei's Stuff". On June 3, 2019, she debuted with "Your Boyfriend Sucks!".
2020-present: Find Your Game and IMPGS[]
In July 2020, she was announced as a contestant in the survival show Find Your Game, which at the final episode, she was apart of the Top TBA, as she was placed 2nd place, making her able to debut with IMPGS. In November 16, 2020, the group debuted with "La Vie en Rose".
In a March 1, 2023 interview, she announced that she is currently recording a single that she has been working on since December 2022 for her solo debut. A teaser for the single appeared the following day.
On March 14, 2023, it was announced that her solo EP would be named "Flower" and her lead single would be called "Just Do It Yourself"
On March 17, 2023, her debut EP, "Flower" released worldwide, along with the leading single "Just Do It Yourself".
