Valkyrie (Korean: 발키리), originally a five-piece group, is a four-member South Korean girl group currently under HQ Entertainment. They made their debut on July 24, 2018 with their first mini album Valhalla, and the title track "Mortal".
History[]
2018: Debut with Valhalla[]
On June 9, HQ started revealing the four members of their upcoming girl group—with Kang Ye-seo revealed first. This was followed by Chalita Onruang on June 10, Sim Yun-kyu on June 11, Yang Eui Kyung on June 12 and lastly, Chloe Yoon on June 13.
The group had their official debut on July 24 with their mini album named Valhalla. Their debut gained attention for their rather ominous concept, despite the members' young ages.
