Venus (Korean: 비너스; stylized in all-caps) is a five-member South Korean girl group under Route Music. They debuted with single "Meet: VENUS" in August 8, 2018.

History[]

2018: Galaxia Entertainment New Girl Group, Member Reveals, Debut Single Meet: VENUS, First Comeback with Second Single Album Asteroids[]

In early 2018, Galaxia Entertainment announced they would be debuting a new girl group near the middle of the year. Starting in July of 2018, they began revealing each member through profiles posted on the official Galaxia Entertainment website.

On August 8, 2018, VENUS made their debut with the single Meet: VENUS.

On December 20, 2018, VENUS made their first comeback with the single Asteroids.

2019: First Mini Album Solar System, Japanese Promotional Company, Addition and Cancellation of Sixth Member Mina, Second Mini Album GALAXYA.[]

On April 14, 2019, VENUS released their first mini album titled Solar System. Later that month, the group signed with a Galaxia Japan to handle promotions in Japan.

On July 4, 2019, Galaxia Entertainment announced that a new member would be joining VENUS, namely Mina. Later that month on July 20, the company announced she would not be able to debut with the group due to health issues.

On September 1, 2019, VENUS released their second mini album GALAXYA.

2020: Jimin and Jihyun High School Graduation, Third Single Album Sunev, First Studio Album uniVERSE, Official Fandom Name SPARKLES[]

On February 2, 2020, it was announced that members Jimin and Jihyun had graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School.

On March 8, 2020, VENUS released their third single album Sunev.

On November 4, 2020, VENUS released their first studio album uniVERSE. On November 5, 2020, VENUS released their official fandom name to be SPARKLES.

2021: Fourth Single Album Shooting Star, Third Mini Album RISE UP[]

On April 19, 2021, VENUS released their fourth single album Shooting Star.

On October 29, 2021, VENUS released their third mini album RISE UP.

2022-2023: Fourth Mini Album Starstruck, Fifth Single Album Forever, Second Studio Album LIGHT & DAY[]

On January 31, 2022, VENUS released their fourth mini album Starstruck. The group had no more releases that year.

On May 5, 2023, VENUS released their fifth single album Forever.

On December 7, 2023, VENUS released their second studio album LIGHT & DAY.

2024-Present: Fifth Mini Album Cosmos, Third Studio Album ASTRONOMICAL[]

On May 22, 2024, VENUS released their fifth mini album Cosmos. The group had no more releases that year.

On February 3, 2025, VENUS released their third studio album ASTRONOMICAL.
