VARIANT (바리안트) was an 7 member boy group under WaoHyu Entertainment. They debuted as 6 on June 19, 2021 with their first single album Hash and Slash.

Debut[]
on May 1, 2021 WaoHyu Entertainment announced they're debuting a new boy group under the agency going by the name of VARIANT. showcasing every members different abilities and where each member stands out.
on May 5, 2021 the member reveal process had started with the first two members being Chris and Nick, then on May 6, Ronjun and Taebin and finally on May 7 Xijian and Youngjin, the two final members were revealed, therefore confirming the groups line-up to be 6 members.
On May 24, 2021 WaoHyu Entertainment announced that VARIANT would be debuting with their first single album Hash and Slash. As well as they revealed that the groups fandom name would be VIA.
on January 6, 2022, WaoHyu Entertainment announced that the group would be welcoming another member going by the name Run.
Youngjin was introduced on I-Dream β, and it is presumed that the group might've silently disbanded.
