Tia Sara Murro Despujol, most commonly known by her stage name Tia (티아), is a Filipino singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer and model currently under DRV Records as a member of Sugarr.
Early Life[]
Tia Sara Murro Despujol was born on Puerto Princesa, Mimaropa, Philippines. She was the older sister to a family of four. Ever since she was young, Tia loved the outdoors, spending most of the time at parks and golfing sites. Her love for golf originally started through her father, who was an avid player, and it quickly passed on to her. While her skills were considered one of the best in her hometown, she never had any goals to make it her future job, as she had began dreaming of becoming an idol.
Trainee period[]
Sometime in 2019, Tia successfully auditioned for Elipse Entertainment, becoming a trainee. During her trainee days, she was known for her dancing skills and leadership. While her social skills weren't the greatest, she often took on the leader role during evaluations, often leading her team to victory.
Career[]
2021: Sugarr[]
On July 19th, she was announced as a member of Sugarr. The group would make their debut on September 2nd with the mini album Mystic Potions.
2023-2024: Departure from Elipse Entertainment, Modelling[]
On 2023, it was announced that Tia's contract with Elipse Entertainment had expired, as she had decided not to renew. From 2023 to Sugarr's reformation, she worked as a model back in the Philippines.
2025: DRV Records[]
On April 24th, Tia, alongside the rest of Sugarr, signed with RONDO Entertainment's subsidiary, DRV Records, to continue activities.
