Pre-debut[]
Prior to the groups debut, member Wooju debuted as a musical actress and member Hanbit worked as an actress.
Additionally, the final lineup consisted of Wooju, Hanbit, and predebut member Songhee, however Songhee departed shortly before the debut.
2010: Debut, Hanbit's departure[]
On May 10, a teaser was revealed of an upcoming trio consisting of Wooju, Hanbit, and Subin. The group was given its own reality show Must be The Wind that documented their debut progress. At the end of the documentary, it was revealed they would be debuting on June 6th with the single "The Wind".
On June 6, the group made their debut with said single. Member Wooju went viral for her highnotes, causing her to receive a lot of attention towards her and the group. Hanbit also gained a lot of attention due to her youthful look, and Subin garnered attention for her rapping skills. The promotional period was jampacked with different activities and appearances. After the promotional period ended, the members rested.
It was revealed at the end of 2010 that member Hanbit had departed from the group, and would be replaced with Youngjoo.
2012-2014: Further comebacks, Subin's departure[]
On February 17, 2012, the group made their first comeback with their first studio album It's Okay to be Lonely.
