Takako (타카코), also known by her full name Minami Takako (미나미 타카코), is a Japanese singer, actress, and model under SYSHOME. She serves as one of the vocalists of the unlimited member girl group SolSys.
Winning multiple awards ever since she starred in her first film, Takako has gone to star in various films of different genres. As well, she has modelled for several commercials, most famously a commercial about a perfume. She has been regarded as one of Japan's fastest actresses to achieve success.
Despite being an actress, Takako had taken upon to reveal that becoming an actress was not her "full dream" and wished to pursue an idol career someday. Almost being added as a 17th generational member of AKB48, she dropped out due to personal reasons.
On January 19, 2024, Stardust Promotion announced her departure from the label. Almost 7 months later, on August 5, she was announced to have signed with SYSHOME.
Early Life[]
Minami Takako was born in Kushiro, a city in the Kushiro Subprefecture in Hokkaido, Japan. Her family moved to Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, after wanting to live in the city for a while. She grew up rather popular due to her looks and was often considered to be "the prettiest girl in the whole school".
From parental recommendation, Takako took acting lessons to pursue a career in acting.

2019-2024: Signing with Stardust Promotion, acting career, leaving Stardust Promotion, joining SYSHOME, SolSys[]
On June 2, 2019, Stardust Promotion had announced that Takako had signed with the label and would shortly make her acting debut in the Japanese film Nature Ear as the lead. The film was a massive success across Japan, grossing ¥6.28 billion yen, thus making the film as one of the highest grossing films of 2019 in Japan.
She starred in a various amount of films throughout the years, most seeing success. She had also won awards for her performance in the film Stellar Adventure.
On January 19, 2024, it was announced that she had left Stardust Promotion after terminating her contract.
On August 5, 2024, she announced on her Instagram that she had signed with SYSHOME. The announcement was confirmed later on the same day by CEO Byeon Kyeung-mi, who also revealed that Takako had signed wishing to begin promoting in South Korea.
On August 10, 3 units: Eclantant(e), BACK2BACK, and NEMESiS were announced as the last 3 sub-units of 2024. The unit is expected to debut in December or January 2025. Sometime later, the lineup was teased to consist of Min Jaeji, Oh Jimin, Nam Heeryeong, Kim Saewon, Jang Myungseo, Rika, Demi, and an unknown member, which was set to be revealed when the group announced their debut. On December 12, 2024, the unit announced their debut to be on December 23, 2024, with the studio album NEMESiS <Benevolence>. The next day, Takako was introduced as the twenty-seventh member of SolSys.

On May 2, 2023, after her film Warm Visit, she announced that she would be going on hiatus due to a sudden health issue. She later announced that she will be ending her hiatus in 2024 after she was casted for House of Computers.
