Taeyang (태양) is a Korean-Nigerian singer under cosmichaus. He is a member of the boy group seVenwrld and is among its vocal, dance and rap lines and serves as one of the group's aces.
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
In January 2023, he was cast by cosmichaus after his Instagram profile went viral due to his visuals. Prior to that, he sought auditions from other major entertainment companies, leaving many of them due to the rap box they tried to force him into.
2023: Debut with seVenwrld[]
On September 2, Taeyang was revealed as the eighth member of seVenwrld, being introduced as a member of the second cohort of group members, the Beta Cohort.
Vanguard Assignment Ballots[]
On September 16, it was revealed that Taeyang had ranked 2nd in the First Vanguard Assignment Ballot and would thus be among the debuting line-up of 7WRLD VANGUARD; seVenwrld's principle, rotational sub-unit.
