Eoh Taeyeon (어태연) is a South Korean former actor.

He is best known for participating reality survival shows Star Maker X 101 (2022) and Project AURA (2023), but placed 46th and 9th respectively, unable to make it to the final line-ups on both shows.

Career[]

2022: Star Maker X 101[]

On June 7th, 2022, Taeyeon was confirmed as a contestant on DIAMOND Entertainment's newest reality show, Star Maker X 101, representing Ivory Entertainment Group with fellow trainees Chom Jeongmun and Yang Jihu. Throughout the show, he would show massive improvement, consistently climbing up the ranks. However, in the second ranking ceremony, his journey came to an end as he was eliminated by judges and roughly placed 46th.

2023-2024: Project AURA, actor activities[]

Around July 2023, Taeyeon was confirmed as a contestant on Project AURA. He was unfortunately later eliminated in the finale placing 9th, two spots away from debuting.

A few weeks later, Taeyeon opened an Instagram account and revealed that he had left Ivory Rookies and its company. He later signed with a management agency as an actor and model. Although he has appeared in a couple of dramas and films, most of them were small roles, and not much success seem to have come with his actor activities.

Around November 2024, it was announced that he had departed from the agency after his contract had expired, deciding to not renew it. He stated his reasons in a post on his Instagram account, saying that he wasn't able to see any future and wanted to take time to find a new path he would be satisfied with.

2025: New beginnings and speculations[]

Since then, he has not been active on Instagram as he used to, and has only posted a couple of times. Many have speculated that he must have decided to not pursue being a figure in the entertainment industry and live a normal life, or he was offered to become a trainee and may be making his debut some day in the future. However, no proof has been given to support these rumors. Despite his infrequent activity for the past months, it remains unknown what Taeyeon is doing as of now.
