TNRL is a joint venture, five-member Korean-trained American boy group formed under Touch Entertainment and Columbia Records. The group is set to promote both in the United States and South Korea, blending the strengths of both markets through their distinctive sound and artistry. TNRL’s concept is a refreshing, mature and radiant concept. Their sound blends k-pop, garage, R&B and dance with slight 2000s inspiration to create a new genre called ‘Reality Pop’. They aim to capture the experiences of your first years as an adult through relatable lyrics and visuals. They draw inspiration from 2000s boy bands like NSYNC and Backstreet Boys and from k-pop boy bands like BTS, SHINee and EXO.

The name TNRL is an abbreviation of the phrase “Turn Reality,” a concept suggested by executive producer and creative director MIIX, and unanimously agreed upon by all members of the group. The name embodies the group’s ambition to introduce something fresh and innovative to the music industry, aiming to challenge traditions and reshape the musical landscape. In November 2023, Touch Entertainment announced plans to form an American boy group in collaboration with the renowned American label, Columbia Records. Shortly after, it was revealed that Touch Entertainment soloist MIIX would play a key role in the project, assisting with casting and taking on the role of executive producer and creative director for the group. The group’s lineup was officially finalized, and intensive training began in early 2024 under the guidance of Touch Entertainment, marking the start of a rigorous training process to shape the group’s unique sound and artistry.

Before joining TNRL, members Xander and Valentine were already well-established influencers. Xander built a following of over 2.5 million fans through his thirst traps and gym videos, while Valentine became viral  on TikTok, gaining over 3.5 million followers with his viral dances. Both members had strong fan bases prior to their debut, adding a layer of excitement and anticipation to the group’s formation.

On April 2nd, 2025, TNRL was officially announced to the public, generating significant excitement and interest from Netizens.
