Synesthesia is a seven member girl group under Space Entertainment. They debuted on February 8th with a mini album called Sketch. All the members have a particular type of synesthesia and they chose to have their concept revolved around their synesthesia in some way.
Their concept is that they are seven university students with synesthesia who find out that their symptoms heighten after a strange event that happens while they are on campus. They soon find that they now have magical abilities that tie in with their synesthesia which helps them with solving mysteries in and around their campus.
History[]
Pre-Debut: November 14th 2023 to February 8th 2024[]
On November 14th 2023 they were introduced through Space Entertainments website with their logo and a summary of their concept.
On November 15th 2023 their Instagram and Twitter accounts were opened and shared by their company. An hour after the opening of their account an introduction of the seven members were posted which included their names, ages, MBTI and the members official colors.
On November 18th 2023 they all went live to talk to fans. Many fans ended up being worried about the group dynamics since some members were treating each other cooly and they did not seem as though they all got on. They were especially worried about Soo who seemed to be mainly making snarky remarks about the other members.
On January 8th 2024 it was announced that they will officially debut on February 8th 2024 with a mini album titled Sketch.
Debut Month: February 8th - March 8th 2024[]
On February 8th they officially debut with their mini album Sketch.
On February 17th they officially released their fandom name called Pastel.
On March 4th it was revealed that Haneul and Nara were the ones who created the group and chose the girls who were going to be apart of the group. It was also revealed that Hanuel is leader and Nara is the co-leader of the group.

On March 31st it was announced that at the very start of April each member is going to release a video introducing themselves. Each video was released in age order starting from Haneul and ending with Soo. This started on April 2nd and ended on April 9th.
A lot of fans enjoyed the introduction videos because it meant that they were able to get to know the members more. Once again however there were worries about Soo because she seems more rambunctious and less serious than the others. Many people ended up worried that she isn't taking her idol image and fame seriously. It caused a lot of internal fanwars about whether she should be an idol.
On April 10th Nara livestreams with a guest. She is a trainee called Alison Lee. She seems to be very nervous to be there but she introduces herself as a pre-debut member. She was never announced because she left the group a week or so before the announcement because of anxiety. Nara and her seem to get on quite well and Alison seems to talk fondly of Soomin as well when they talk about the other members,
On April 16th a trailer is released for a short film named Synesthesia: A Mysterious Discovery. It explores the events that happened before The Gift in more depth and shows more about the main characters in it and just how they ended up with thier power. It released on April 21st on their youtube channel.
May 4th to June 24th 2024: Reality Show & Mini Album Release[]
On May 4th it was announced that they were going to have their first comeback on June 24th 2024.
On June 2nd a trailer for a two part series was released called Draw Our Colour. The official videos were released 10th & 11th of June. The concept of the videos was for the girls to describe and colour or write in pages whilst seeing and hearing what triggers their synesthesia as a way to talk about their synesthesia and to create more understanding about it.
On June 10th the first episode of Draw Our Colour is released and it included Soo, Haru, Rae and Haneul. These four were in this episode together because their synesthesia is triggered through sound. The other three girls in the group are asking the questions.
On June 11th the second episode of Draw: Our Colour is released and it included Soomin, Nara and Sun. They were in an episode together because their synesthesia is triggered through what they see or feel.
On June 24th their second music video Draw is released along with a mini album of the same name.
July 13th 2024 to July 20th: Music Show Wins and a Livestream[]
On July 13th they receive their first ever music show for their song, Draw on MBS Rankdown.
On July 15th the members have a livestream all together to celebrate their win. They seemed excited and bewildered still by the fact that they got their first win. They also mentioned plans for a third mini album. Sometime in the middle of the livestream Soo left without stating the reason why. Most of the livestream just consisted six members out of seven.
On July 20th they earn their second win for Draw on MBS Rankdown.
August 13th to November 21st 2024: K-Paradise Seoul & You & Colour[]
On August 13th it was announced that they are going to perform at K-Paradise Seoul & You on September 21st 2024.
On September 21st 2024 they perform at K-Paradise Seoul & You.
On November 21st 2024 they release their third mini album named Colour.
February 8th 2025: Erase[]
On February 8th 2025 they comeback with their fourth mini album Erase. They release it on their debut date as a way to tie their beginning and ending of the first act together.
