Star Maker 101 was a 2022 survival show that was broadcasted by DIAMOND Entertainment. It premiered on January 28, 2022. The show aims to create a 9-member girl group out of a trainee pool of 101 girls from different entertainment agencies. The final group, LUNIVER, debuted on May 2, 2022 and will promote for 10 months.

Concept[]

The concept of the show is putting the contestants through performance challenges to see who comes out as the top. From the 101 trainees, 9 will be selected to form a unit girl group. The unit group will perform four songs together for about a year and release a debut album under the record label of DIAMOND Entertainment but may later after disbandment join other girl groups the agencies are planning.

For the girls' training, several artists were recruited for the show: Soomin of SRSN, Ahn Minah formerly of Bee-Gals, Liya of Vibrant and Jasmine of @mie as mentors. The MC is Clover’s Minju.
