Song Lixue (also known by her stage name Xuexue) is a Chinese singer, model and actress based in South Korea, China and Japan under ACE Entertainment. She debuted as a member of the Chinese girl group PULCHRA and is currently a member of the South Korean girl group Flame Girls.
Career[]
2014-2016 : Pulchra[]
She made her first appearance as a member of the Chinese LUX Entertainment girl group PULCHRA on July 16, 2014 with the single "Confident". She was the main vocalist and visual of the group. The group lacked popularity and due to the lack of popularity, the group disbanded on April 22, 2016. Xuexue terminated her contract with LUX Entertainment and signed with SOLIS Entertainment.
2016-2017 : Idol Star China[]
On January 28, 2017, SOLIS Entertainment announced Xuexue to be a contestant on the Chinese survival show Idol Star China. She would represent the only trainee from SOLIS Entertainment. She performed AURORA's song "Secret". She received rank C after her first stage. She ranked 65th on episode 1, 63th on episode 2, 79th on episode 3 and was eliminated in episode 4 on the first elimination round, ranking 87th, not being able to debut in YOUTH GIRLS. After her elimination, she remained with SOLIS Entertainment. She was part of the pre-debut girl group GENTLEGIRL, but the group was not able to debut due to unknown reasons. She debuted as a duo girl group with Zhao Xiaochen (Chenchen) with the single "Shine & Fly". The duo also debut in Japan with their single "Sugar Sweet". The duo disbanded on December 8, 2017. Xuexue terminated her contract with SOLIS Entertainment and signed with the Japanese label Dreams Record.
2017-2019 : Japanese activities[]
On August 7, 2017, she was revealed to be contestant on the Japanese survival show Japan's Next Idol Girls. She represented Dreams Record, together with 2 other trainees. She and her group performed 4U's song "Final Lap" and received rank B after her performance. She ranked 20th in the first elimination round, 38th on the second and 16th in the last. In the final, she ranked 14th, not able to debut in QURE. After the survival show, she debuted with a 3-member Japanese girl group 1STLADY. She was the lead vocalist, visual and maknae of the group. The group debuted with "Last Night". The group disbanded on October 12, 2019. She terminated her contract with Dreams Record and signed with the South Korean label ACE Entertainment.
2019-2020 : South Korean activities[]
On Feburary 5, 2020, she competed on 200% IDOLS, representing ACE Entertainment, together with 5 other trainees. She and her group performed YOUNGMI's song "Hourglass". She received rank A after her performance. She ranked 11th in the first elimination round, 16th in the second, 9th in the last and the final she ranked 7th, being a final member of FLAME GIRLS. She is the main vocalist and visual of the group. The group debuted on May 19, 2020 with the single "Fire". On October 5, 2020, she debuted as an solo artist with the single "Final Dream". She was the first FLAME GIRLS member to debut as a solo artist, followed by 2 other members.
2021-present : Rising popularity[]
She became the main vocalist and visual in the South Korean girl group FLAME GIRLS under 200 Entertainment. She was one of the most popular members, because she was the only non-Korean member. Xuexue solo career also went well, her mini album "Pyramid" was ranked first on South Korea's Top Music List. Xuexue also debuted in her home country, China, with the single "Starry Skies". After her first Chinese mini album "Snow Castle" ranked first on China's Top Music List, she made her debut in Japan, with the single "Teddy Bear". Her Japanese mini album "Last Day" ranked first on Japan's Top Music List. She got the main role in the South Korean drama series "Blossoms & Snowflakes". The OST of the drama "Fortune" was sang by herself. On May 18, 2021, her former Chinese duo member Zhao Xiaochen was revealed 200 Entertainment. Xuexue and Chenchen debuted togehter under 200 Entertainment with the single "Reunion", with a Korean, Chinese and even a Japanese version of the song.
