Solyeon (솔연) is a Korean singer under cosmichaus. He is a member of the boy group seVenwrld and is among its vocal line.
During the 2010s, he was a rising child actor known under his birth name Kim Yeon-Seok (김연석). Appearing in various commercials and small television parts, he left the acting industry in lieu of pursuing his idol dreams.
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
In 2012, he was scouted by Virtue Actors' scouters after they attended his local drama club's production rehearsals. Eager to turn his hobby into something more profitable, he auditioned for the company and was subsequently cast.
In 2019, upon the expiration of his contract with Virtue Actors, he auditioned for various companies. Making it through multiple preliminary stages, he eventually signed with cosmichaus (then Kicking Music).
2023: Debut with seVenwrld[]
On June 3, Solyeon was revealed as the fourth member of seVenwrld; cosmichaus' newest boy group venture following their acquisition by DIAMOND Labels.
seVenwrld debuted on July 20 with their first mini-album SEVENWRLD, headed by title track "THE 7TH WRLD."
Vanguard Assignment Ballots[]
On September 16, it was revealed that Solyeon had ranked 1st in the First Vanguard Assignment Ballot and would thus be the centre of the debuting line-up of 7WRLD VANGUARD; seVenwrld's principle, rotational sub-unit.
