Snowbaby (Korean: 송설자; Chinese: 宋雪子) is a Chinese singer under Jewel Entertainment. She's a part of the girl group INTERSTELLAR.
She debuted as a soloist on May 10, 2025, with the studio album Touch Body.
Early Life[]
Snowbaby, born Song Xue Zi in Ürümqi, China, on July 4, 2003, comes from a prominent family with her father being a successful lawyer, and her mother an actress. She has a younger brother named Jun Xue, born in 2011.
During her formative years, Snowbaby’s parents strongly discouraged her from pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, encouraging her instead to focus on her studies. As a result, she dedicated most of her teenage years to academics. Her hard work paid off, as she emerged as one of the top students in Xinjiang, earning the opportunity to attend nearly any university in China.
Aside from her academic pursuits, Snowbaby led a rather routine life, balancing school, study, and rest with little deviation. Despite her rigorous schedule, she always had a passion for dance and was an avid fan of the K-Pop group LUVX, particularly admiring their Chinese member, Bihan.
After excelling in the Gaokao exam and placing in the top scorers’ percentile, Snowbaby was preparing to study law abroad, with fans speculating that she was planning on attending either Oxford University in the UK or one of the Ivy League schools in the US.
However, her plans took an unexpected turn when a close friend from Seoul, the CEO of Jewel Entertainment, reached out to her with an offer to join his new girl group. Enthusiastic about the opportunity, Snowbaby decided to forgo university and instead traveled to Korea to prepare for her debut.
Career[]
2023-2024: Debut in INTERSTELLAR, Becoming an MC[]
On March 7, 2023, Snowbaby and 5 other members were revealed to be a part of Jewel Entertainment's new girl group INTERSTELLAR.
On March 13, 2023, she officially made her debut in INTERSTELLAR with the digital single "Spit it out."
On December 15, 2024, VESK announced Snowbaby to be one of 3 MCs for the 2025 season of their music show, Battleground K: Music Dojang! Snowbaby went to her Weibo account to express her excitement to be working alongside Bailey and Stephany, two people who she respects immensely.
2025-present: Touch Body[]
On February 1, 2025, Jewel Entertainment released soloist profile photos for Snowbaby. 2 months later, on April 28, 2025, she was announced to be making her solo debut with her first studio album. On May 10, 2025, Snowbaby debuted with the studio album Touch Body.

Snowbaby is one of those people who naturally bears confidence and elegance. Extremely articulate, she can make any person feel at ease while she still manages to pull off grace and poise. Though from a wealthy family, she doesn't act snobby or full of herself; in fact, she's really kind and approachable.
She is the kind of woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go out and get it, even if it means going against the expectations set for her by others. Her decision to quit university and become a K-pop idol will be able to attest to that fact.
On top of everything, she is very beautiful, but once again that isn't all that stands out about her. It's the way she connects with people and just leaves this strong impression without trying too hard. Snowbaby just has a charm that makes her memorable, like she was always meant to stand out.
