Shanti Maharaj is a South African singer currently under LSG Entertainment. She is a member of US-based girl group Ange Chérie.
Early life[]
Shanti Maharaj was born on November 10, 2006 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa to Indian South African parents. She is an only child. In 2017, at the age of 10, Maharaj and her family moved to San Jose, California, United States for her father's job. Despite this, she is not a US citizen and does not consider herself American.

2024-present[]
On July 27, 2024, Maharaj was anonymously included in a social media post labeled as LSG Entertainment's first US-based girl group Ange Chérie. Her identity was uncovered by fans within hours of the photo's release.
The next day on July 28, she was officially identified by LSG Entertainment with the release of her profile on the label's website.
Ange Chérie's debut single "Debut" was released on October 25, 2024, as the lead single for their debut EP of the same name.
