7WRLD VANGUARD (세븐월 드반가드) is the principal unit of seVenwrld. Inspired by AKB48's Senbatsu Elections, entrance into the unit is based solely on the Vanguard Assignment Ballots held in the months prior to the unit's comeback. Ballots will always be accompanied by a threshold number of members that cosmichaus sees the release encompassing. Through voting for their favourite members, fans ensure the members' opportunities to promote as VANGUARD and see more pushes in other, non-musical promotions. Ballot voting times often last for a week and conclude with the announcement of the rankings. Members who have been successful in three consecutive ballots are required to miss the fourth ballot succeeding the successful three.
The members within the specified threshold will release and promote the next 7WRLD VANGUARD single throughout the promotion cycle whilst the other members will record a single for the single album.

"GENERATION" was the first 7WRLD VANGUARD single and introduced the concept of Vanguard Assignment Ballots. The voting period lasted from September 9, 2023 - September 16, 2023 and was capped at four members. The single album itself came out on October 10, 2023.
