7WRLD VANGUARD (Korean: 세븐월 드반가드) is the principle sub-unit of the K-pop boy group seVenwrld under cosmichaus. It is a rotational unit, comprised of the members who successfully rank within the given threshold of the Vanguard Assignment Ballots. In lore, the group serves as the primary unit of the seVenwrld.
The sub-unit has no fixed amount of members as entry is dependent on the threshold laid out by cosmichaus.

Sub-Unit Formation & Pre-Debut[]
The concept of 7WRLD VANGUARD was drafted early in the creative process of the project that would become seVenwrld. Inspired wholly by AKB48's Senbatsu groupings for their A-side singles, it was determined from the beginning that the group would have a fluid line-up determined exclusively by the votes of fans.
2023: First Vanguard Assignment Ballot - GENERATION & Second Vanguard Assignment Ballot - Ghost of the Wind[]
On September 10, cosmichaus held an online press conference to detail the mechanics that seVenwrld intended to operate and utilise. In particular, details of the Vanguard Assignment Ballot and how its results will impact the releases of the premier unit 7WRLD VANGUARD were mentioned.
From September 9 through to September 16, the First Vanguard Assignment Ballot was held. Upon its completion, it was announced that Solyeon, Taeyang, Hyu and Junho were the top four and would thus be the promoting line-up of the unit's debut.
The Second Vanguard Assignment Ballot was held between October 29 through to November 5 and accumulated triple the votes amassed during the previous ballot. At its conclusion, the top nine and promoting line-up were; Fabian, Seongyul, Dantae, Seuru, Samseul, Rickie, Solyeon, Søren and Hyu. Promotions for Ghost of the Wind began on December 1.
The voting period for The Third Vanguard Assignment Ballot was held between January 1, 2024 through to January 14 and was the first under the NAVIS COLUMBA. At its conclusion, the top seven and the new promoting line-up were; Solyeon, Dantae, Søren, Tadashi, Fabian, Rickie and Hyu. The unit is confirmed to make their comeback within the first quarter of 2024.
