SAPPHIRA' (사피라) was a musical duo under Artist Music You (originally a nine-member group under Vistamp Entertainment). The duo consists of members; Chaemin and Hyerim. The duo debuted on August 11 with their digital single "Love Sight".
History[]
2023: Debut with Fearless of Advocation, disbandment[]
In December 31, Vistamp Entertainment announced that 9 female members Saewon, Mirae, Hana, Garam, Semin, Hyejin, Chaemin and Hyerim were preparing to release an album as a new group in January. The group's name, SAPPHIRA.
On January 2, the unit revealed their official logo. Later, it was announced that SAPPHIRA would be releasing their first studio album, Fearless of Advocation, on January 18th.
In May 2023, all members of SAPPHIRA left the group and terminated their contracts with Vistamp Entertainment. The two remaining members Chaemin and Hyerim decided to stay and renew their contracts with Vistamp which then was re-established as AMU.
2023 (2): Re-debut with "Love Sight", Trauma[]
On August 4, AMU revealed that SAPPHIRA would be re-debuting as a duo. The company revealed the groups new logo on the same day.
On August 5, AMU announced that SAPPHIRA would be making their debut with their first digital single "Love Sight" on August 11. They would also be making their Japanese and English debut later on with Japanese and English versions of Love Sight.
On November 4, SAPPHIRA posted a comeback teaser on their socials announcing their first mini album Trauma.
On November 11, SAPPHIRA released their first mini album titled Trauma.
2024: Disbandment[]
On March 27, 2024, AMU announced the disbandment of the duo. Both members would continue under the company pursuing solo careers.
