Wang Ruoxi (Chinese : 王若汐; Korean : 왕루오시), professionally known by the mononym Ruoxi (Chinese : 若汐; Korean : 루오시) is a Chinese singer and dancer based in South Korea. Her first appearance to the idol industry was as a model based in her home country China, but she later debuted in the South Korean girl group Solis.

Early life[]
Ruoxi was born on May 2, 2008, in Shanghai, China. She started playing the violin when she was 5. She was discovered by modeling agency MeiJing, which was her first step in the idol industry. Her parents didn't want her to pursue a modeling career at first, but later approved.
2021-2022 : Modeling career in China[]
Ruoxi started modeling at the age of 12, for fashion and cosmetics brands from China, but also from Japan, South Korea, Canada, the United States and Australia. She won several beauty competitions domestically and internationally. There were also cases where she won a beauty competition without even applying. Through her modeling career in China, she was discovered by GLX Entertainment.
2022-present : Debut with Solis[]
Ruoxi was scouted by GLX Entertainment, which discovered her in China during a beauty competition. Her parents were hesitating to allow her to move abroad, but eventually agreed. She moved from China to South Korea. She studied Korean everyday and befriended Taiwanese trainee Yungching, who later debuted with her. She was revealed as a member of the pre-debut girl group GLX Girlz on November 4, 2021. The group debuted as Solis on New Year's Day with the album Girls' Party.
