Raea (래아; formerly stylised as RaeA), is a South Korean singer and actress under cosmichaus. She is set to made her solo debut on April 23, 2025 with the mini-album Chrysalis.
She is a former member of Queen Amethyst.
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
Raea was one of the first trainees scouted for cosmichaus (then known as KICKING MUSIC) through a small scale, in-house drive on its opening day on June 26, 2016. Successful in her audition, she was offered a trainee contract and was placed on the vocal track.
2017-2022: Queen Amethyst[]
On April 6, 2017, Raea debuted as a member of Queen Amethyst, KICKING MUSIC's first girl group as its main vocalist.
On December 31, 2022, cosmichaus announced that Queen Amethyst would be disbanding following the company's release as a subsidiary, therefore not having the economic power to support any idol groups. RaeA transitioned into an actress and remained signed with the company.
2025-present[]
On March 23, it was announced through cosmichaus' social media that Raea would be making her solo debut with the mini-album Chrysalis on April 23.
The same day, her pre-debut single, "Loop (ft. Kaehwa of LUMINESCENT)", was surprised dropped.
