Rêve Atelier (꿈 작업실), commonly known as Rêve, is a Korean fashion company founded by Yoon Su-ho, also known as Alex the boy band khaos, in 2015. Headquartered in Seoul, it designs, manufactures, distributes, and retails haute couture, ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories. It has collaborated with Gentle Monster on eyewear.

The brand is endorsed by a variety of idols and celebrities, including khaos.

History[]

Rêve was founded in 2015 by Yoon Su-ho, member of the boy band khaos. Prior to launching Rêve, Yoon had already established himself as a talented designer, creating custom outfits and clothing for khaos and other celebrities for approximately three years. His work during this period garnered attention for its innovative designs and meticulous craftsmanship.

With a vision to commercialise his designs, Yoon managed to secure $500,000 in funding, which he used to establish Rêve. The brand’s name, Rêve (French for "dream"), is inspired by his fandom's name and reflects Yoon’s philosophy of transforming creative visions into tangible, wearable art. From its inception, Rêve focused on blending haute couture with contemporary trends, offering a unique aesthetic that resonated with fashion-forward audiences. The brand quickly gained recognition for its attention to detail, use of high-quality materials, and Yoon’s ability to infuse his designs with a sense of individuality and self-expression. Within a short period, Rêve became a favourite among South Korean celebrities and the public.

From 2018 onwards, Rêve began collaborating with Gentle Monster, resulting in a collection of sunglasses and optical frames.

The brand also became the official supplier of sportswear for the 2018 Winter Olympics and continued to be the official supplier for the following Olympic Games, both Winter and Summer Games. In 2024 it was also announced that they would be official suppliers of the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics.

Brand Philosophy[]

Rêve Atelier’s philosophy revolves around the concept of "dreams made tangible" (꿈을 현실로). The brand aims to create fashion that empowers individuals to express their unique identities while maintaining a commitment to quality and innovation. This philosophy is reflected in its designs, which often blend traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.

Artistic Direction[]

Rêve operates under two distinct creative divisions, each reflecting a unique aspect of the brand’s identity. Both divisions share Rêve’s core philosophy of "dreams made tangible" but interpret it through distinct lenses, allowing the brand to appeal to a diverse range of customers.

Rêve Éclat[]

The Rêve Éclat division represents the dreamy, elegant side of the brand. It focuses on haute couture, sophisticated ready-to-wear, and luxury accessories. This division emphasises intricate craftsmanship, premium materials, and timeless designs that evoke a sense of wonder and refinement.

Rêve Nova[]

The Rêve Nova division embodies the casual, streetwear-inspired side of the brand. It offers contemporary, urban designs that blend comfort with bold, expressive aesthetics. This division caters to a younger, fashion-forward audience, emphasising individuality and modern trends.
