Project AURA is a South Korean boy group reality competition series organised by UKIYO Entertainment, a joint venture between entertainment companies STBC and Ivory Entertainment Group.
Promotion and broadcast[]
On May 2023, STBC and UKIYO Entertainment announced that they have begun filming for the new survival program Project AURA, which aims to create the agency's first global boy group. The contestants will be assessed through seven rounds. Later, REVICE member Rayyan and ALLERIA member Angela Voon was confirmed as the show's hosts.
On June 2023, the official Twitter, Instagram, Realmu and Plum accounts for Project Aura opened and the first set of promotional posters were posted. An article was also released on the same day confirming the show would be containing seven missions and would also air through Japan's Abema TV, Ivory Entertainment Group's official YouTube channel, and Netflix from July 20, at 8:50PM KST.
On July 10, XB1 was confirmed to sing the signal song for Project AURA. It was released on July 12 at 6:00PM KST. Profiles of the twenty-five contestants were revealed the next day, with individual profile photos and introduction videos at the same time.
