Produce 101 Thailand Season 2 (ผู้ผลิต101: ซีซั่น 2) is a large-scale survival-reality show focused on creating a girl group based on Thailand. It is the second season where takes it's focus on creating a girl group, differently from the first season where the boy group ONU was formed.
A sequel, focused on male trainees, Produce 101 Thailand Season 3, is scheduled to air in 2024.
History[]
On June 4, 2023, TGT and FMSIX Entertainment revealed that Produce 101 Thailand is returning with a second season after solving issues with the trademark. The second season would showcase the birth of Thailand's Nation girl group. They posted the teaser and an article revealing that they already scouted trainees under the project name "Thailand Girl Group Project" earlier the same year.
On July 14, the signal song Girls' Time! with the performance music video was released on the official YouTube channel. It was also revealed that the show will premiere on August 11, 2023.
On the premiere, the show was opened by ONU's performance with "Would You (Pick Me)", the signal song for the first season. All members except Jaru were present on the first episode of the season.
