"Primé" (stylized in all caps; alternative titled Award-Winning) is the debut single of South Korean singer Won Taehyun featuring Won Kyungjun of MERAVI. It was released through Big Planet Creative on October 7, 2024.
The song was nominated for Best Collaboration at the 2024 Seoul Music Performance Awards.
Background[]
Won Taehyun and Won Kyungjun, labelled as "2Won" by some fans, have had a long friendship that traces back to their participation in 2021 reality audition program Sol Puzzle as contestants, with further interactions when they competed against each other in vocal survival competition The Other World. In April 2024, Taehyun revealed in an Opal livestream that he would like to collaborate with Kyungjun on a song in the near future.
Composition[]
"Primé" is an electropop and trap song composed in the key of G major and 141 beats per minute (BPM). It sonically features a futuristic atmosphere with Latin and French pop influences.

Music Video[]
A music video featuring both singers was released through Big Planet Creative's YouTube channel simultaneously with the song's release. Directed by Bae Daeul, the music video begins in a gym, where multiple men are working out while a random person is occupied with reading a newspaper in the corner. The person puts down the newspaper and it is revealed to be Taehyun, who does his opening rap verse while striding out of the building with a leather briefcase with his name engraved in it. The scene skips to Kyungjun, who sassily walks and sings in a walkway of blue flowers that references a similar location from the music video of MERAVI's 2023 debut single "Midnight Adventure". In between his scenes are birds-eye shots of seven well-dressed male pedestrians with plastic umbrellas, with the crowd dispersing and leaving one to toss away their umbrella and revealing themselves to be Taehyun; this is considered by many fans to be a reference to his first group MNK and their disbandment.
In the pre-chorus, Taehyun sneaks into a luxurious building and breaks into an empty office, where he eventually starts dancing. During Kyungjun's parts in the second verse, Taehyun is seen prying open a vault and taking out a bag filled with eight opal stones. He is subsequently chased down by security guards and loses all eight opal stones while running down the stairs, alluding to Opal and their disbandment. He encounters a mysterious door where he is sucked into a blinding light, and finds himself in the flower walkway where Kyungjun was. In the last chorus, Taehyun and Kyungjun are seen relaxing and performing the choreography in foldable chairs in a garden.
