Phantasmagoria is a faceless co-ed band under Space Entertainment. They officially debuted on April 10th 2024 with the mini album Phantasm.
Their concept is that the members are those who have the power to travel dreamscapes. They specifically are exploring the dreamscapes that are strange and unruly hence why they chose the name Phantasmagoria for their group name. Their concept will have horror themes to portray their storyline and their costuming.
History[]
Pre-Debut (December 5th 2023 to April 10th 2024)[]
On December 5th 2023 it was announced that Space Entertainment will have another group debuting in 2024. They introduced their concept which shows that each member can enter into dreamscapes. None of the members were revealed nor were there any group accounts made.
On December 23rd it was announced in an article that the group is inspired by visual kei and that they will explore many subgenres of metal and rock. They are using these sounds and aesthetics because they believe it fits into the concept and storyline they are wanting to portray.
On December 28th the members were announced after a long wait which stressed out a lot of fans who really wanted the group to be revealed. The reason for the wait was because some members were unsure whether they would like to be seen and for this reason all of the members are now hidden and use masks and other costuming to hide their identities. They also decided to go this route because it gives the band a more mysterious vibe and it helps with portraying their concept in an easier manner.
On February 25th 2024 it was announced that they were going to debut on April 10th 2024. The album cover and what the album is about was not released but it makes fans excited because they had been quiet and off social media for a while and many thought they maybe they had silently disbanded before they even got to debut.
April 10th 2024: Debut[]
They officially debuted with the mini album Phantasm on April 10th 2024. The concept that was being explored in Phantasm is that all the members can explore their dreams but now they are stuck in a never ending loop of dreams they are unable to get out of. They first start of as calm and the whole mini album explores the calmness of dreams but throughout the songs there is a slow shift between calm to chaos.
July 18th 2024: Group Instagram Opens[]
After three months of silence Space Entertainment suddenly shares that Phantasmagoria finally has a group Instagram account. Almost as soon as it was created the first post was by Nat who posted a picture of themselves wearing their fox mask. They also included a small introduction about themselves. Soon the other members contributed to a post wearing their representative masks.
