Park Joowon (박주원) is a Korean Trainee under under Moonbridge Entertainment. He is also a member of the boy group SPECTER, after having successfully passing the NAVIS COLUMBA NEW COMPANY GROUP 2024 Audition.
History[]
Early Life[]
Park Joowon was born on October 20, 2007, in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea, to a couple whose names are undisclosed. He is the middle child with an older brother born in 2003, and a younger brother born inn 2009. His mother is a stay at home wife, while is a head chief at a famous 5 star restaurant in Gangnam.
Due to his fathers job, him and his family often attended formal events and other activities, it was here where Joowon saw idols, in particular, his father was the head chief cooking for EMERGE when he visited one day, and when he was introduced he was starstruck by the members, saying how kind they were, and it was from here were Joowon decided to become a singer.
From 2018 onwards, he started taking vocal classes, during this time he also started applying to join NAVIS COLUMBA (then known as Blair Entertainment) as a trainee. Joowon revealed that he auditioned a total of 400 times from 2018 to 2023, each time in the auditions he kept on getting closer and closer in each audition. He made it to the final round of the October 2023 audition before he was ultimately rejected once more.
In January of 2024, he was informed of NAVIS COLUMBA holding aa company wide audition titled after having NAVIS COLUMBA NEW COMPANY GROUP 2024 Audition. Joowon decided to partake in the audition one last time, hoping that he can be added to Blair Music or one of the subsidiaries. He sent them a video of him singing as well as him dancing as well.
After he didn't hear back from them in February, he began to lose hope, it wasn't till the first week of March where he was contacted by a NAVIS COLUMBA agent, who informed him that he had passed the audition. Along with that, he was being offered a spot in NAVIS COLUMBA New Group Project by the suggestion of Lee Yohan.
After having several meetings with Yohan, in which included an interview, a personality meeting, he was finally offered a spot to which Joowon took.

2024: NEW COLUMBA New Group Project[]
On April 13, more photos of the group were released, this time the photos being with photos of the 8 members all in their rooms in their dorms. On the last slide, two new members were posted (with their faces blurred), confirming that two new members had joined the line up.
On April 20, it was revealed that Joowon along with Han Wonbin were added to the line up.
2025: Debut with SPECTER[]
On May 5, Wonbin and the rest of SPECTER debuted with their min album "Thunder City".

When Joowon joined the company he was in his second year of high school. He is currently enrolled in a School of Performing Arts Seoul in the Musical Theatre Department.
As of April 2024, he is currently in his second year of high school.
Personality[]
Joowon is described as someone who speaks softly, while not as timid as Aejung, he is said to be just as kind-hearted as the younger. He is often seen by the others in their living room playing video games or studying.
On any normal day, Joowon tends to like following the beat to his own drum, often wanting to venture out and see new things. The members alike have all said that Joowon is something that has a great sense of direction and understanding of others emotions being able to defuse any conflict and talk to anyone and become friends with them easily.

- His most treasured item is a photo he took with EMERGE in 2018, when was 11 years old.
- His favourite food is burritos, he loves that he can put anything into it, and he revealed that he often eats it at least once a week.
- His favourite colours are: yellow and purple.
- His lucky number is 1020 (the month he was born, and the day he was born).
- Despite his father being a professional chief, he is in fact banned from cooking in their dorm. The only thing he is in charge of in the dorm is boiling water and even then he needs supervision as he does not know how to cook.
- When he revealed to his parents what his official group animal was, his siblings bought him a 10ft stuffed penguin and he has it in the corner of his room that he has called "Pengmin".
- He shares his name name (Park Joowon) with fellow NAVIS COLUMBA label mate SeVenwrld's Jookyun.
- When he found out about it during a live, he was really excited since not namy people have Joowon as a name, and the fact that him and Jookyun also share the same family name. As such, Joowon voiced that he wanted to create a unit with Jookyun and name it "W/Joowon" with him one day.
