Pan Luqi (판루치) is a Chinese idol from Japan. She is a member of the girl group VIIXEN as one of the main vocalists. She was a contestant on WORLD CLASS.
Early Life[]

When her parents got married, they moved to Japan due to her father getting a job there.
Her interest in singing peaked by watching music shows on TV as a young child. She wanted to become a singer who can bring happiness through her voice and songs. So she started watching vocal training videos on YouTube when she was 5.
When she became a teenager and entered junior high school, If she had no plans to hang out with her friends on a certain day, she would go to the local karaoke box and sing songs as a part of practice and training by herself. She was also known in school as the "great singer" person, and was usually praised during choir lessons in music classes. This period was also the time Luqi got into K-pop, but not to a point she was obsessed with it.
When she became a high school student, she opened her own instagram account and started posting covers. She even did a few collaborative covers with a friend who was one of the guitarist in the band club.
While scrolling on Instagram out of boredom, Luqi saw a post that was about auditions for an upcoming K-pop survival show called WORLD CLASS. Although she wasn't too into K-pop, she had the sudden desire to try and audition for the show. As much as she knew the K-pop industry was harsh and strict, and not knowing a single Korean or barely knowing any information on K-pop culture, she thought this was the way to spread her voice to the world. With her parents and schools approval, she decided to audition.
For preparation, She chose a song to sing, and although she had little to no experience in dancing, she prepared a K-pop choreography she was capable of doing and practiced it. She also did her best to learn simple and basic Korean words/sentences that could help her, incase of a situation where she would be asked in Korean.
It was the day she was waiting for. She went to the audition venue and waited for her turn.
Her turn came, and she entered the room. Although she struggled as she was overwhelmingly nervous with her hands shaking and her eyes going all over the place, she managed to calm down with the kindness of the judges. She sang her heart out with two songs. Although her pronunciation was off a couple of times while singing the Korean song she prepared, She managed to end both songs flawlessly without any actual mistakes. She also danced to a K-pop song with easy choreography, but it ended badly with making a major mistake during the dance. The auditions ended, and she was extremely upset at how she fumbled the dance she prepared and she instantly started sobbing when she came home. Her parents comforted her and told her to stay positive for the results and pray.
The results came out a few days later by email. Luqi took awhile to check as she was extremely anxious, but finally decided to open the email after constant pressure from her friends and parents.
The email had the words "Congratulations! You have passed." She was relieved to know that she passed to the point she almost passed out.
As she was preparing her suitcase to go to Korea, she realized that this was finally the start of her career.

2024: WORLD CLASS, VIIXEN[]
On August 18th, it was officially revealed that Luqi would be participating in Korean female survival show WORLD CLASS.
On November 10th, at the finale of WORLD CLASS, Luqi was announced as the 4th placer, making her a part of VIIXEN. She later debuted with the mini album "FOX EYE" on December 5th.

- She can speak Japanese and Chinese fluently. She can also speak Korean at a conversational level, and she aims to improve even more through her idol activities.
- Although she was born in Japan, she is ethnically Chinese.
- She is a self-trained vocalist with a unique tone.
- She started training her vocals at a young age through YouTube videos.
- She has never had any proper training in dance prior to her participation in WORLD CLASS.
- She is a fan of TWICE, Kep1er, and BEAUDENT.
- Her respective biases in each group are Jihyo/Nayeon/Sana, Chaehyun, and Hyunah.
