In the 2022 Bee Entertainment Trainee Showcase, Jinsung performed Next Level by aespa, and performed in the rap team.
Jinsung performed as a background dancer for HOLIDAY and Teenage Lovesick in rm8z TAKE A HOLIDAY 2022 Concert Tour in Seoul and Jeju.

From Minhyun's Bee-hind The Scenes vlogs, Jinsung is the epitome of confident. They have no problems being on camera, and their face seems to light up whenever they realize they are being filmed for a vlog. Jinsung, when shown practicing, seems very determined and their ambitions to be an idol are very strong. They have an eye for detail, and often help other trainees with dance or rap. Minhyun said that Jinsung is very smart, and uses their intelligience to help others.
Being a background dancer for rm8z displayed Jinsung's love for performing. Backstage, they get very excited, and on stage, they shine. Jinsung also seems to get along well with Eunhyun.
