ODYS2EA (also stylized: ODYSSEA, Korean: 오디시) is a global 7-piece boy group under Golden Feather Entertainment. They debuted on March 14, 2025 with the mini album Seven's Heaven and its title track Pretty U.
Etymology[]
The group name is the mixture of the words "Odyssey" and "sea", in which the second S is replaced by the number 2, completing a heart shape. The name is a good reflection of the group's concept, as they're "swimming with the tide"; trying to show the ups and downs of life.
Lore[]
The story follows a group of seven ordinary students who discover an old board game in their school's warehouse. When they play the game, they are transported to another dimension. Their comebacks would represent a new challenge in the game accompanied by imaginary monsters that reflect the hardships of life.
Career[]
2023-2024: Recruitment of the members and training period[]
In 2023, Golden Feather Entertainment conducted online and in-person auditions globally for a boy group project targeting boys from different countries who had prior entertainment experience or training. The company already had numerous foreign representatives and connections, which influenced their recruitment efforts. The members of the group, who would be based in both the United States and South Korea, also received Korean language lessons while preparing for their debut.
2025: Member introduction and debut[]
In January 2025, the members of the group were introduced to the public. Sakuto was the first to be announced, accompanied by Earth and Juan, marking the confirmation of Earth as the leader of the team. They were later joined by Jules, Finnick, Elio and Nicholas. ODYS2EA is set to make its debut in March 2025 with a young and fresh concept. As most members are already recognized talents in their fields, the company grants them creative freedom and input in the group's production.
On March 1, 2025, the group announced their debut album release schedule on their social media accounts, confirming that they would debut on March 14 with the mini album titled Seven's Heaven. Individual concept photos were released daily from March 4 to March 10.
On March 23, 2025, the group announced their fandom name would be VOYAGER alongside the group's official colors. The meaning behind the name is that the fans play a crucial role in ODYS2EA's journey as their companion, and they monitor the development of the boys' fate.
On June 21, it was officially announced that Nicholas would leave the group.
