Noa is the Featured Idol of November 2023

Kim Noa (김 노아) is a Korean singer-songwriter and model currently under Morph Entertainment Group. She made her debut as a soloist on June 25th 2022 with her single 'Racetrack'. She is also a member of the supergroup ACADIA.

Early life[]

Noa was born in Cheongju, South Korea on September 15th 2002 to a Korean father and a Taiwanese mother. Noa is an only child. She would attend both Seowon elementary and middle school, as well as gaining her high school education through Seowon high school. Unlike many, Noa did not always wish to be an idol when she grew up. While she liked singing and dancing, she knew the entertainment field was competitive and she felt she would never measure up to other trainees. Noa would instead get into modeling for her start, after a family-friend suggested her to get into it. She modeled for many tween/teen fashion magazines before getting scouted at a shoot. She was originally signed under Morph as a model but later was convinced to become a trainee in 2017.

Trainee period[]

She was set to debut with a girl group in 2021, but the group disbanded before debuting. She then was approached about being a soloist, which Noa happily agreed to. She would debut a year later in June 2022.

Career[]

2022-present: Debut with Racetrack and First Mini-Album[]

2022:
Noa released her debut single album 'Racetrack' on June 25th 2022. Said track had an accompanying music video. She promoted the single for 3 weeks and preformed her single 'Racetrack' and her b-side 'S.P.E.E.D' at IDOL-CON 2022. She announced that should would be releasing a new single on September 2nd 2022. A promotion was released on August 16, the video begins with a phone ringing. The phone rang three times before Noa picks it up, Noa answers 'Hello?'. While not heard, someone on the other side of the phone says something that makes Noa gasp before she drops the phone. The screen fades to black while the date '09.02.22' flashes on the screen in a hot pink. On September 2nd, Noa released her second single album 'DIVA' with the tracks: 'DIVA', 'Fetch', and 'Come Again?'. The single album did chart domestically, but found more success from Noa's international audience. Noa was featured on the cover of ASTRA Magazine's September 2022 issue. On December 10 2022, Noa would be having a comeback in Janurary. Then on December 14th, it was announced Noa's comeback would be Janurary 13th 2023, and she would be releasing her debut mini-album.
2023:
Noa would release her first mini-album "Picturesque" on January 13th 2023, with the song "Boys Over Flowers" serving as the title track. The mini-album also featured a collab with Ni.U on the track "Code". The track "Boys Over Flowers" would score Noa a win on Beat Bop during their January 16th broadcast. The song would also score her first on MBS Rankdown on January 21 2023. Noa would receive her 2nd win on MBS Rankdown during their February 4th broadcast. She was a featured artist on the song "Live in the Moment" by Gyumin on his mini album "K-Fanon". It was announced on August 10th that she would be releasing her 2nd mini album "Unpredictable" on October 14th. She would be announced as a member of the label's supergroup ACADIA.
2024:
Noa would release a surprise digital single on January 21st 2024 titled "Feel Me". On March 22nd, Noa released her 3rd mini album "VIBRANCY" with the title track being "Sad Love Song" as well as having her previously released digital single "Feel Me" on the track list. In May it was announced Noa would be releasing her first Japanese mini album in July. Further details came out with the album's release date being July 12th, and the album name being "Scene". On July 12th, Noa would release the music video for the title track "Sorry But I Love My Hair" off of her debut Japanese mini album. On October 11th 2024, Noa would release her 4th mini album "Romantic". "Can't Stop" served as the release's title track. The track "Can't stop" has two versions: ft. Cherry Bom & Echo. The "echo" version is without the Cherry Bom feature.
2025:
In January it was announced Noa would be releasing her 1st full length album in March. As well as her first world tour announcement which would begin in May of 2025. On March 1st 2025, Noa released "Dance" which was a pre-release off her upcoming full length album "ON". On March 8th 2025, Noa released her first full length album "ON" with "SPACE" being the release's title track.
