Park Jihoon, referred to as Nik but also known by his western name Nikolai Park, is a Korean-Russian singer-songwriter, composer, pianist, violinist and record producer known as "South Korea's classical genius." Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Nik made his debut in 2012 and rose to prominence as part of the South Korean boy band khaos, which went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands in the world. A former child prodigy, Park composed his first piano sonata at the age of five; at seven, he completed the short opera The Gentleman of the Theatre, and later wrote a violin concerto at age nine. At the age of ten, he wrote his first full-length opera, Falling Snow, which had its European premiere in Saint Petersburg in 2005. Park's piano concerto was premiered when he was 12.

He is widely recognised as one of the most influential songwriters and composers of the 21st century in South Korea and has written and composed a number of number-one songs on the Gaon Digital Chart.
