History[]

2008 to 2014: Company Formation and Search for Trainees[]

In June of 2008, Blair Entertainment was first formed originally as Blair Recording, Blair Recording was initially just a producing house, in which they had several producers and lyricists that they would loan to other companies for song recording.

Around May of 2009, the company decided to pool their resources and begin production for their first boy group. The company had launched several auditions but each audition was met with no successful candidates that would become trainees.

In January 2010, the company was able to recruit their first trainee, soon after having launched again several searches and scouts to try and get more potential members for the boy group, but sadly none was successful until Bae Jungyeol, the CEO of Blair Recording scouted the companies second trainee in the end of 2010.

From 2010 to 2013, the company recruited their first batch of trainees, it was during this phase of auditions that the company decided to only host male trainees and male groups due to undisclosed reasons.

Around the summer of 2014, they had changed their name from Blair Recording to Blair Entertainment.
