Motivation is the debut English single by k-pop girl group DREAMSCAPE. It was released on May 24, 2024 through LSG Entertainment as the lead single from their debut album, SOUNDSCAPE.
The track was produced by Ariana Grande, Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh, marking the first time the group's music was written by someone outside of their label. It is speculated to have been originally written with the intent to be released by Ariana Grande, as a demo of her singing the track's chorus was leaked on social media.

The single was announced, along with the group's debut English album SOUNDSCAPE, on April 2, 2024. SOUNDSCAPE was released on August 30, 2024 included 3 more singles, all released that same August.
On May 24, 2024, the song was released to streaming and digital download platforms. The music video was released to YouTube the same day.
Impact[]
"Motivation" reached the top 40 in a multitude of countries, including #1 worldwide and their native South Korea, as well as Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia and the Philippines. It was listed as one of the best k-pop songs of the year by many publications.
The song was especially promonent on social media, with the bridge's dance break earning hundreds of thousands of video uses on TikTok and being covered by numerous popular creators.
Merch reacreating the groups outfits, namely basketball jerseys featuring each members last name and birth year, became a popular fashion trend among the general public.
