Hyejin (문혜진) is a South Korean singer under Galaxia Entertainment. She is a member of girl group EYRII, a former member of trainee group Galaxia Ladies and project girl groups cy-dol and C.I.V.A.
Career[]
2016: Produce 101 and debut with C.I.V.A[]
Hyejin along with two other female trainees of her company, joined the Mnet survival program Produce 101 which aimed to create an eleven-member girl group from a pool of 101 female trainees from various entertainment companies in South Korea that will promote for a year under YMC Entertainment. The show aired from January 22 to April 1, 2016. She failed to make the cut, ranking 28th in the tenth episode of the show.
On July 8, she debuted in the project girl group C.I.V.A through the show The God of Music 2. The group debuted with their only digital single "Why".
On December 14, Hyejin released the song "Permeate" for the OST of the popular Korean drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju.
2017: OST's[]
On March 4, 2017, Hyejin released the song "Heartbeat" for the second part of the OST from the JTBC Korean drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.
2018: Galaxia Ladies[]
On July 3, 2018, she was announced as the second member of trainee group Galaxia Ladies where she will be training with the group until the group debut in 2021.
2019: cy-dol[]
In August, 2019, a project girl group named cy-dol was formed with Hyejin and fellow Produce 101 contestants Caroline and Kyunghee. They debuted on September 10, 2019, with the title track "Out Of My Mind".
2021: cy-dol's Disbandment[]
After one year of inactivity, on April 2, Galaxia Entertainment officially disbanded cy-dol and on April 8, Kyunghee renewed her contract with the company.
2022: Debut with EYRII[]
On November 6, 2021, Galaxia Entertainment announced that Hyejin, alongside trainee group Galaxia Ladies would be debuting in their new eight-member girl group, EYRII. They debuted on April 2, 2022 with their first mini album We Are EYRII.
