Miu Media ( 미우 미디아 ) also known as Miu Entertainment is a multinational music agency. Founded on November 15,2001 by underground artist Ahn Hyejin. MIU stands for MUSIC IN YOU. Hyejin founded this quote online when she began to have a passion for music.

2001-Present: MIU MEDIA[]

Miu Media is the future of kpop and music in general. From Kpop to Rnb Hyejin hopes that there will be a new future for these genres. From 2001-2010, Hyejin did not open auditions. She decided to focus on the building, the rules, and staff before starting on bringing in trainees. She also had to work on herself beforehand. As soon as it hit January 1,2010, Hyejin launched auditions. Little did she know, she would get a good amount of people auditions. Which led to 2015, she debuted her first ever soloist named Solarr. Solarr debuted with the mini album, “SHINING STAR” in August 22,2015.

In April 2017, Miu Media announced the opening of their first ever sub label “The Love Labels” and branch office in Indonesia. The love Labels a few weeks afterwards announced the debut of a 6 member group named SOS (SEA OF STARS). They made their pre-release on May 30,2017 then officially debuted June 10,2017. And disbanded January 1,2023.

As 2018 was right around the corner, Ahn Hyejin wanted to spread the company even further by announcing global auditions due to the company gaining so much success. Global auditions started mid-spring and at the end of spring. They ended up bringing in 34 girls and 5 boys. No other groups debuted in 2018-2022

In August 2019, it was announced that Miu Media has a second branch office in China. A interview was released and the main words that she said was,” I want to have artist that can make music for everyone. We started off with Indonesia and now we have C-pop on its way!” This received a lot of positive attention from many netizens.

2021-2022 there’s no serious articles released other than rumors of artists which had a backlash on the entertainment. They stayed silent due to these reasons.

In January 2023, Ahn Hyejin released a statement of Miu Media debuting their 1st girl group in March-April. The girl group was revealed to be 4 members and named GIRLVERSE They debuted March 11,2023.
