Miyu (미유) is a Japanese model and former trainee under YK Holdings. She is a former member of the trainee project group The INTERDIMENSIONAL Project.
Early Life[]
Miu was born in Kyoto, Japan, to a stay-at-home mom and an engineer father, who worked at Toyota.
She is Zainichi-Korean, as her maternal grandparents are from South Korea.
Career[]
2020-2022: The INTERDIMENSIONAL Project, lawsuit[]
On July 5, 2020, she was introduced as the fifth female member of the co-ed trainee project group The INTERDIMENSIONAL Project. She did not participate in the vocals of the group's first digital single "T.I.P Vol. 1".
On July 9, 2022, Kiwi, Miu, Jaeseok, and Ryu were reported to have terminated their contracts with GALAXY Entertainment and had filed lawsuits against the company, claiming damage in trust, mistreatment, and attempting to poach members' contracts. They eventually won the lawsuit on October 4.
2023-present: Signing with YK Holdings[]
On March 3, 2023, she announced that she has signed with modelling agency YK Holdings and will focus on modelling at the time being, as she currently does not plan on becoming an idol.
