Mireya Park, known simply as Mireya, is a Korean-American singer and producer under Fashion Enterprises Entertainment. She is a member of Cherry Atlantic.
Life and Career[]
Mireya Park was born on November 7, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas, United States, to South Korean immigrant parents Park Kiwoo (b. May 11, 1974) and a mother whose name is undisclosed (b. February 27, 1977). Her parents met when her father was studying abroad in Texas while her mother was touring there. Her parents got married in Austin, Texas, and moved to San Antonio prior to her birth. She is an only child.
She grew up in a middle class home, and started singing at the age of 4. She had always been interested in music, as well as the Entertainment industry in general since she was very young, often singing at her parent's house. Most of her childhood, she would listen to western music, as her parents often played them in her house. One time, back in 6th grade, she tried to play Basketball, but decided to quit when she was in middle school as the direction didn't fit her. She was also apart of the choir at her public program as well. According to an interview, she was the loudest student in her classroom. She first discovered Kpop in 2015 with Girls' Generation thanks to her friend. She and her family would also often visit musicals in Houston as well.
In December 2018, at the age of 15, she moved to Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, South Korea with her family, taking online classes from her American High School during her last years of School.
In June 2019, she auditioned for Fashion Enterprises while shopping at a mall in Seoul. She joined the company 2 weeks later.
2021: Girls Planet 999[]
In 2021, she was announced as a contestant in Girls Planet 999. However, she got eliminated in Episode 5 and ranked K21, thus making her unable to debut with Kep1er.
2023: Cherry Atlantic[]
On March 2023, she was announced as a member of Cherry Atlantic.
