Minju (민주) also known by her full name Kim Minju (김민주) is a South Korean Singer, Dancer, Actress and Model under XQUAL. She was a member of the Project Girl Group P*RISM. She is a member of the trainee group XQUAL GIRLZ.
She debuted as a soloist on February 21, 2022, with the single album "New Wave".
History[]
2019-2021: UNIVERSE9, P*RISM, Departure from KROMS Entertainment[]
Kim Min-Ju was Firstly introduced as a Participant on the Survival Show UNIVERSE9 back on 2019. Where she represented the trainee batch from KROMS Entertainment. The show focused on creating a 9 member girl group that would be promoting for 1 year. With her profile reveal she gained quick media attention and became one of the most talked members.
On UNIVERSE9, She ranked 9th on the finale, therefore making her the final member of the girl group P*RISM.
KROMS Entertainment later announced that P*RISM Would be debuting on 2020.
Later on KROMS Entertainment announced that plans to P*RISM's debut weren't going as planned within the other companies disagreement, so that lead to the group disbanding without ever actually having promotions or a single release.
on January 30, 2021 KROMS Entertainment announced that Kim Min-Ju would be leaving KROMS Entertainment and pursuing her career in a different agency.
2021-Present: New Agency, debut with New Wave[]
on March 13, 2021, Andromeda Artist Agency announced that Kim Minju has signed an exclusive contract with the agency and would be pursuing her career under the label as an actress and possible future soloist.
on January 9, 2022, Andromeda Artist Agency announced that Minju would be debuting as a soloist on February 21, 2022 with her first single album "New Wave".
2023-Present: Silently switching agencies and introduction as a trainee[]
On April 19, 2023, XQUAL revealed another trainee, Minju, whom previously debuted as a soloist under Andromeda Artist Agency as a trainee member of XQUAL GIRLZ.
