Masami (마사미) is a Japanese singer and rapper under SYSHOME. She serves as one of the vocalists and rappers of the unlimited member girl group SolSys and is a former contestant on the Japanese reality survival show Girls' Fantasy: Japan.
Early Life[]
Masami was born in Kyoto, Japan, to a single mother, as her father had died before she was born. Her mother re-married a year later.
Career[]
2023-present: Girls' Fantasy: Japan, SolSys[]
Sometime in September of 2023, she was announced as a contestant on the Japanese reality survival show Girls' Fantasy: Japan. She was unfortunately eliminated in the second round, placing 32nd overall.
On March 25, the group announced their upcoming subunits debuts, with REC0VER debuting in the spring, Puriti.G in the summer, and VARIOUSLESS in the fall.
On June 13, the lineup of Puriti.G was announced to consist of Han Yooneul, Seo Hanhee, Oh Jimin, Hyun Sookyung, Kim Saewon, Guanyu, Jang Myungseo, Kim Semin, Rika, Yu Min, and Eri, along with "SYS23". The debut date was also announced to be on July 3. The next day, Masami was announced as SYS23.
