On March 30, 2015, Marco with Seung-eun, Yang Elena, Hoh Byeol, Zimo and Oliver were introduced as the first-ever members of a trainee program, DEIATROOPS.

On August 3, 2020, Zimo and Marco both publicly came out as gay and confirmed they were dating since 2017 on their Instagram post.
